For the Zoom meeting, you will need to download and install the Zoom software.  The information is in the column on the right.

For the best learning experience, please use a PC, Mac, or tablet.  Avoid using smartphones if you can.

Some office computers with extra security (e.g. VPN) may have issues with viewing the videos in the course (e.g. cannot load, or hear an echo in the audio). You may click on this sample video link to test if your system works before the course starts.  You should hear the voice-over clearly and see the slide animations and transitions.

Video Password

Videos are password protected. You will get the password during the first Zoom session.

Download Handouts

Slide handouts in pdf format can be downloaded from within the videos.  It will be useful for you to do this as you will no longer have access to the videos after the course.  Just click on the label Resources (as indicated by the white arrow in the image below) within the video at the top left corner.  Instructions on how to do this are also given at the start of  Video 1.

Submission of  Exercises

Each Video Contains An Exercise To Be Submitted.  Links to the exercise can also be found in the Resources tab as indicated by the white arrow in the image above.  Instructions are given at the end of the respective videos.

• • Submit the exercise before the next activity (i.e. before the next video or zoom session).
  • You get an email acknowledgment upon submission. If not check your spam box.
  • To be considered as having completed the course, you need to submit all assignments.

Playback Controls

At the bottom of the video screen are the video playback controls.  Feel free to play and replay any part of the video as needed.

I would recommend that you hit the maximize button for a better viewing experience.

Video playback issues

If you find playback disrupted (e.g. video or audio stops), pause playback and wait for a few minutes to let the video load.  Or reload/refresh the page.  Normally happens with tablets.

Sometimes there are problems viewing videos via the Safari browser.  Switching to a Chrome browser may resolve the issues.
